Pie with asparagus

INGREDIENTS

  • 450 g of puff pastry
  • 250 g of asparagus
  • 125-150 g of mozzarella
  • 2 tablespoons of parmesan
  • 30-40 g of ham
  • favorite spices
  • flour for sawdust on the surface
  • 1 egg for greasing the dough (or just the yolk)

PREPARATION
Wash the asparagus and cut off the lower part of the shoots ~2-3 cm (or simply break it off with your hands, bending the shoot, the hard part breaks off exactly where it ends).

Next, boil it in salted boiling water for 1-2 minutes and immediately transfer it to cold water to stop the cooking process.

Defrost the puff pastry, roll it out, wrap the edges and press them with a wire (we recommend doing this immediately on the parchment). Pierce in several places, brush with egg and send to the oven at 180C for 15-20 minutes until golden.

Then take it out, sprinkle it with grated cheese and lay out the asparagus (the pages that were too thick, I cut them in half, but it is not necessary to do this). On top again a little cheese, spices and parmesan. Bake for another 5-10 minutes so that all the ingredients are combined

We take it out, lay out the jamon and enjoy.
