Frequently asked questions

Which format should I choose?

Use PNG for lossless diagrams and text, JPEG for broadly compatible smaller photo-heavy pages, and WebP for efficient modern image delivery.

Why might the exported size be lower than the selected resolution?

The system limits extremely large pages to an 8,192-pixel side and roughly 40 megapixels. This prevents common browser canvas crashes while preserving the highest safe scale.

Can I stop a long export?

Yes. Cancel after current page stops before the next page, discards the partial output, and does not start a download.
