Frequently asked questions

How do I calculate what score I need on my final exam?

Use the required final score mode: enter your current grade and its weight, the final exam's weight, and your target overall grade. It'll solve the score you need on the final.

Why are my graded average and course points different?

The graded average describes only the work entered so far. Course points include each item's weight in the full course, so they also show how much of the final 100% you have already earned.

Can I include my existing cumulative GPA?

Yes. Enter your previous cumulative GPA and completed credits. The planner combines those quality points with the courses in the current term and shows the projected cumulative GPA.

What GPA scales are supported?

The planner includes a standard 4.0 scale with plus and minus grades, a 4.3 scale where A+ equals 4.3, a whole-letter 4.0 scale, and a weighted 5.0 scale. Use the scale required by your school.

What does an unreachable target mean?

A required final score over 100%, or a required term GPA above the selected scale's maximum, means the target cannot be reached with the remaining exam or planned credits alone.
