Frequently asked questions

Can I compare grams with kilograms?

Yes. Weight and volume units are normalized automatically, so packages using different compatible units can be compared fairly.

How do I enter a buy-one-get-one-free offer?

Open Deal terms, set Packages paid for to 1 and Free packages to 1. For buy two get one free, enter 2 paid packages and 1 free package.

Why can the best unit price differ from the lowest checkout?

Packages are sold whole. A low unit price may require a larger purchase or leave more unused product, while another option can cost less for the specific amount you need.

How are repeating promotions estimated?

The calculator treats the package quantities and discounts under Deal terms as one complete deal, then repeats that same deal enough times to cover your shopping amount. Check retailer limits and loyalty requirements before buying.

Should I use net or drained weight?

Use the amount you can actually use or consume. For products packed in liquid or with significant waste, enter a published drained or usable amount when available.
