Frequently asked questions

Which data types can it extract?

It finds HTTP and HTTPS URLs, email addresses, international-style phone numbers, numeric or English month-name dates, standalone numbers, hashtags, mentions, IPv4 addresses, and IPv6 addresses.

How does it avoid overlapping results?

Numbers that belong to URLs, emails, phones, dates, social handles, or IP addresses are not repeated as standalone numbers. Dates and IP addresses are also excluded from the phone group.

Which date formats are supported?

Numeric YYYY-MM-DD, DD/MM/YYYY, and MM/DD/YYYY-style values are validated when possible. English month-name forms such as 28 July 2026, July 28, 2026, and July 2026 are also supported. Ambiguous numeric day and month order is preserved rather than guessed.

What does case-sensitive duplicate matching change?

By default, values such as TEST@example.com and test@example.com are one duplicate group. Enable Match letter case when capitalization should create separate results. The extracted text itself is never rewritten.

Are CSV exports safe to open in a spreadsheet?

Values beginning with spreadsheet formula characters are prefixed with an apostrophe in CSV only. TXT, JSON, copied results, and the on-page values preserve the original text.
